Stephanie Munk manages Sunstone’s deal flow process, assessing all incoming opportunities against our investment strategy and in-depth research during due diligence.

Stephanie joined Sunstone in 2019 after many years of academic research. She has a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and a master’s degree in Humane Biology – both from the University of Copenhagen. Furthermore, she has a PhD in Applied Mass Spectrometry and Oncology from the Novo Nordisk Foundation Centre for Protein Research, also at the University of Copenhagen. 

Subsequently she continued her research as postdoc and Assistant Professor at the Centre for Chromosome Stability (University of Copenhagen), specializing in proteomics analysis of genomic instability to understand cancer development. 

Her work is published in reputable journals such as Cell Reports and Nucleic Acids Research.
