Robert Cobuzzi is a Venture Partner and Chairman of the Business Development Advisory Board at Sunstone Life Science Ventures. He brings 30 years of experience at the intersection of science, business development, and public company leadership in the biopharmaceutical industry.

A trained neuroscientist, Dr. Cobuzzi has held senior executive and board roles at NASDAQ-listed companies throughout his career. He served most recently as Chief Operating Officer and Board Member of CervoMed, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRVO), a clinical-stage neurodegeneration company, following the reverse merger he orchestrated as President and CEO of Diffusion Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: DFFN). Earlier, he spent 13 years at Endo International (NASDAQ: ENDP), culminating as President of Endo Ventures Ltd. — the company’s Irish operating subsidiary — and Senior Vice President of both U.S. Branded Pharma R&D and Corporate Development.

Dr. Cobuzzi holds an AB in Biochemistry and Art History from Colby College and a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from Loyola University Chicago. He completed post-doctoral research in Experimental Therapeutics at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
